1st Tarporley Scout Troop

 


About the Scouts
When
 Peckforton Troop meet at the "HUT" on Tuesday evenings, from 19.00 to 21.00
Who
 Boys aged 10½ to 14½. Our main source of scouts is from the Cub Packs.
What
 The Scout programme is based around the traditional outdoor scouting activities:
  • camping
  • canoeing
  • hiking

We take part in County and District competitions, winning various categories of the "Cheshire Hike".

During the year we hold a weekend Winter Camp and a Summer Camp. Summer Camp normally lasts one week, but this is extended when we go abroad.
